Another clue at 5:52 is the part of the divider between the ALM / CHI windows and the pointer window from which the pointer extends has angled sides on a real watch making a trapezoidal shape. On this fake one they're straight making a rectangular shape.

thank you sir, I just noticed something weird when I saw these too good to be true auctions and prices. But I was always suspected that case and also it has that CHEAP shine. I will just buy from Japanese sellers who sell new ones or a vintage in a good shape which are both are way above $100.

I just purchased a fake ana digi haha an I never knew fakes actually existed so I was really surprised. Purchased on eBay for a bargain so kind of expected. Also I actually purchased the watch on the eBay listing you showed at 6:58 the one for $88.04 😂

Haha i got 2 and sold last year. Thank you for the video! I of course told this to the buyers, and give them all the money back the next weeks. . I just told the sellers that they sold me fake watches and nothing that i want money back. None of them even have balls to say sorry for that,haha. My first mistake in this hobby. Not bad after a year and 40 watches :-)

Absolutely horrendous! Can’t believe how poor the sticker is applied. That said I’d really like to see the module and see if it’s even got a temp sensor which I think not. If it did it could be a replacement module candidate for a broken original . I will share this in RVRW mate

My friend with the fake who pointed this out to me tried to swap the module to an original case and it does not fit. If I ever get my hands of one I'll take it apart and find out if it has a temp sensor. If it does have one I would imagine it's not very accurate 🤣

I really had no idea that they even faked these. I wound up just getting duped. The listing included tags and stickers on the back and bracelet. Can't complain for the price, but it always just sucks getting stiffed.

my dad has one of these. it's a genuine one but it has been neglected for decades and now while I opened it to replace the battery I saw some fugus leaking out of the battery and it doesn't turn on. So I was thinking about buying a fake one and put the movement inside it. but can't seem to find any on aliexpress. ebay is not an option for me. I was really exited about this watch, such a cool design. there's nothing like it but now I am sad

Mine even came with a holographic sticker on the back! It cost $520 in 95' at Grace brothers. I'm thinking of getting a new band and battery. It's a bit scratched because it's the black plastic frame. I hope the battery hasn't destroyed the watch because my dad gave it to me

What about those on Etsy shipped from turkey claiming “new old stock” and they even have like an old effect on the watch band as if it was stored for 20 years, the shops have excellent rating and have seen selling for a long time

Paid 15 quid for my fake one, not paying silly citizens prices for a digital watch. The fake is just fine, I removed the logo and added a really tiny star wars logo instead

Mine says "Figure" inside the face and not "Citizen" what is up with that? it's also stamped "Figure" on the back of the case. Any idea what that's about?

i personally haven't seen one with that branding. but Citizen has done tons of collaborations so that might not be odd. but the rest of the info in the video holds true. if it has the big digits and weird caseback then id say its fake.

Thank you for the nice video:) I bought a fake Citizen ana digi temp watch (only 24 dollars), i knew it was fake but wanted to give it a try because i can't afford the real Citizen watch which is 350 dollars (i think it's overpriced by the way). To be honest, this fake one i have works "really" well, looks still very nice, everything works as promised including the temp sensor, have not encountered any problems yet and yes it's very accurate too:) (-0,5 second per day) With these i'm getting, i don't think i would think of paying 350 dollars for the real one.

I love Citizen watches but they make the Ana-digi so hard to obtain and charge far too much. If this was a Casio it would sell for maximum 150 USD and be available worldwide. We're talking about 40 year old technology. I can't purchase the ana-digi temp here in Turkey but can order the homage from Ali Express. The same with the Bullhead reissue models which are being sold here for up to 5 times the Japanese price.

I bought the eco drive fake just to see if the real one is for me glad i only spent 13 dollars i absolutely hate it the real one is 200 bucks glad i didn't buy it
