Sorry to be a nitpicky commentor, but authentic classic flaps do come in gorgeous champagne gold, rose gold, so black, and rainbow hardware! Also, the screws underneath the tongue will never be the 4 point phillips head, however it will either be flathead like Deb's bag, or a six pointed star (a proprietary screw that Chanel developed ~2017, but not used in all bags since then). Thank you for sharing this Deb, super useful info, the leather texture on the fake is the funniest thing!

Having bought 2 Louise bags back in the 90s plus a few accessories nick I got caught around 15 years ago with a purse I paid a good price for it all seemed fine but after a few years of use I new I had bought a fake , I bought one from harrods about 7 years before but had it stolen …. It’s not funny because these fakes are not cheap ❤

Also if people are selling Chinese receipts with the item RUN. Packaging is key, when you are browsing listings and there is packaging try and match up the seasons with the dustbags. Fakes always come with the wrong dustbags that is the first thing I look for. Never be afraid to ask if there is any paperwork. Or the other thing is when the price is too good to be true. Can we have some more of these please Deb.

This is so good! Anyone here ever get a gift from a friend that’s a fake bag?! I have a friend buy me fake Chanel card holder and wallet. She told me it was fake! Now what do I do with it. That’s illegal which I told her about and the slave shop working conditions.

You can see whoever owned it loved it 😂 If it had been real……would your BIL have sold it on, or bought it himself ? And how much could they have sold it for when it’s from a charity shop and not a company who deals in pre-loved at a higher price point ?

Thank you for your comment. My video was to show what a real bag looks like and what to look out for. You can’t show what is fake without comparing to real. I also would never buy a fake even for the purposes of a video. X
