I prefer the new knock off jerseys. I have 3 and I love them. I prefer the stitching over the cheap heat pressed look. I also prefer them heavier. I also refuse to pay over $200 for any jersey that can end up ripped or stained. For me the authentic ones just feel cheaper.

They have their name for the fans so that why people aren't confused when their wearing their favorite players jerseys because several people weared the same number over the years so it's from fans so they aren't confused you want an let's say you want a jersey from a great era for the Yankees and his number isn't retired guess what that number is still in circulation so the name of the back is for the fans you can get it without the name if you want however I recommend not

I got a Yankees jersey knowing it was fake a couple months ago. eBay but the stitching inside and out isn’t no where near as obviously bad as what he showed int his video. With the Yankees it's tough because of the colours they have and the lettering / numbering they use. I'm a Blue Jays fan and you can spot our knockoff jerseys quite easily.

@@K-DUBYA I thought Majestic was making them for Nike. I got a black 2000 era Mets jersey for $10 on Temu. Got a black and blue era sleeve patch and a 2000 world series sleeve patch on Ebay. It cost $22 total. Says New York across the front with 31 on front and back. All embroided. Best part is, it doesn't actually have Piazza's name on it. I don't like having names. The same exact piazza jersey licensed by MLB is $240. And it has a name I don't want on it. Piazza's a NY legend. But I still don't want his, or anyone else's name on my shirt.

Unfortunately Fanatics bought Makestic. I believe it was 2017. They also bought Mitchell and Ness. They’re creating a monopoly of poor quality and high prices. To your other comment about them getting into gambling it says a lot. This is not a company that has morales. They only care about money and screwing over the fan. MLB are also a major investor into fanatics in multiple equity funding rounds since 2017. Hence why they make the uniforms and all the garbage merch. And why Nike took all the blame for the new uniform issues even though fanatics not only make what Nike say but would be consulted over it because they make them the same as their NHL breakaway jerseys. Follow the money. It’ll always lead you to the crooks. I’m glad I got all my adidas and Reebok nhl jerseys and a few pre fanatics MLB ones. I want a few city connects and they’ll be knockoffs because now the quality is on par or sometimes better than what fanatics produce. This video shows fanatics Nike with heat pressed cheap crap that will fall off vs knockoff sewn on and there’s way better knockoffs than what was shown here. The second hand market is booming and knockoffs are just as good so I hope fanatics Nike MLB NHL etc etc all get what they deserve
