From the importance of maintaining a decent GPA - to temporary alternatives to four year schools. For example, a lot of youngsters who make an effort to graduate high school - may not truly grasp or appreciate the ease of getting into a four year college. If GPA is a factor, they can always START, but NEVER, stay at a Junior college. Instead, learn to take one year worth of classes - maintain a solid GPA and transfer to a local state four year college. Also, emphasize the importance of not falling into the typical confused first-year college student who ends up majoring in Criminal Justice, b/c he is from the hood and that is what he knows, or doing psychology b/c it is a "cool" subject. Alternatively, maybe one of your guests who was more individually inclined - and has success in the private sector - can help explain the process. From making contacts with vendors, contracts in general, etc. Help people avoid falling into the hands of preying sharks who are there to exploit youngsters with potential - stealing their ideas, etc. Big fan of this channel!
