That's a beautiful instrument. I need to go back and watch earlier videos on this if available.

Beautiful work, bravo! Are the mops all the same, or different for each grit?
@ADFinlaysonАй бұрын
Thank you mate, yeah stewmac sell 2 different mops (I can't remember what they're called) I use the course mop on the medium compound and fine mops for the fine and super fine. Course mop/medium compound also great for buffing frets once it gets a bit too tatty for buffing finish,

I was 28 seconds in and all i could think was 'wow'. Beautiful. Liked how you explained that it takes a little time for the buffs or mops to warm up enough to take the compound. Gotta be patient. Great video. BTW, how does it sound??

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. It sounds great in humbucking but I'm a bit disappointed with the coil split sounds on this one. They're Bareknuckle Nailbombs, I might switch them out for OX4 at some point.

@@ADFinlayson Love the wraparound bridge too. I think it might be the first time i've seen a guitar body topped/capped with ebony. How much does it weigh? how thick is the ebony top?? love the swamp ash too. I might duplicate your build but do the body base in limba...

@ADFinlaysonАй бұрын
I painted it with clear
