So I can see if you are powering your swing with the wrist deviating down your wrist can only move that way for a short time. So you need the fast tempo so your wrist is still accelerating when you contact the ball. Does the left hand lead squaring the clubface?

The left hand can lead in squaring the face, both hands should work together in an ideal world, but you can do left, right or both. A fast tempo isn't necessary to continue acceleration at impact, that's more of a sequencing thing.

Did I hear you say rotate the wrist on the backswing? I think I heard that, but if I do that just a little too much, the clubface is open at club parallel. Is this correct? Or, do I rotate my wrists slightly and still keep the clubface pointing nominally toward the ground a club parallel? Do I rotate the wrists after I get to club parallel? I need some help here to understand this movement. To be clear, when I rotate my wrists "slightly" the clubface is still nominally pointing down at club parallel. However, the speed this allows me to create is phenomenal! Please tell me if I am thinking about this correctly or not.

Hi Mark, check out this video that will show you exactly what the wrists are doing and exactly how much: rotaryswing.com/lp/gt-code/?video=2ImwLmojFiM

This is why golf is hard. You rotate your right wrist clockwise (ulnar deviation in previous video) while keeping your shoulder internally rotated. Fine. But then you have to add in this anti clockwise rotation of the forearms too. So you have your wrist and shoulder moving clockwise but your forearm moving anti clockwise. 🤯

You are not understanding the wrist movement correctly. Check out this video: rotaryswing.com/lp/gt-code/?video=2ImwLmojFiM
