i am in Ontario, I have a 10 30...slabbing attachment( never used)...eastern white pine, hemlock, red oak, mapple(s)..bla..bla..bla. Thank you for this, our community is small in this part of the world. Im in it right now, need to cut, need to build, after house fire...thanks man, your just the direction and inspiration I was looking for. I love to learn

Thanks, I just bought the lucas saw mill, I have only small logs, saw several guys loading even five logs inside and mill them, they keep each other stable, some guys use all kind of clamps, there are several options more important to choose the one fits you

Hey buddy yeah but you want them all parallel to the blade. 2 logs about 14" diameter upward is good if they are uniform or the waste defeats the purpose of it. You can chock them seperately too. You still need room both sides of the logs for the engine carrage etc. I preffer to cut 1" boards and 8"x8" 10x10" from the smaller diameter logs. This is personally biased and here in Australia where Lucas comes from and we have the heaviest hardwoods mainly.
