they all pay out 6.5% if you swap to another node there is a 24hr delay before you get your rewards from the new stake, I do like as there is no 3rd party risk you still have the keys

Here is the math on compounding 6.5% / 365 = 0.0178% per day , compounding daily formula is 1.000178^365 = 1.06715 times your amount, if you prefer 6.715% Daily compound barely makes a difference in your investment, 6.5% vs 6.715% Weekly compound is 6.712% Monthly compound is 6.697% Quarterly compound is 6.660% As you can see, obsessing daily to get your reward is not worth it.

a tag is used by exchanges because they dump all the coins into one wallet and it ain't yours the tag is an IOU from them

New sub. Q: I am curious in that part where you can swap your staked hbar? Isn't that double spend? or the staked hbar will be automatically removed when being swap/spent?

The staking only works if you leave it in your wallet, if you move 50% of it out, it will only pay you for the 50% that is left. He was simply proving a point that you can change your mind at anytime.

if you swap hbar for Link(hts) is that the same as chainlink and its price. can I send that to Binance and sell it in the future or would I have to swap first to something else. Im noticing swaping is expensive here...about 6% of what youre swapping! so if have to swap twice thats 12%!

Hi luis, 6% doesn’t sound right. Hedera transaction fees are fixed to the dollar. I haven’t checked on Saucerswap (they power hashpack swaps) but I’ve never noticed fees more than a few HBAR.

@@DidCoding yeah, I was surprised. But I figured out how to go around it. If I want to buy $100 with of Hbar in moonpay they charge about $6 bucks. I tried 1k worth and it was $60 so about 6%. If do through banxa by visa or Apple Pay they charge 2%. I tried to buy $100 worth of habr and came to be 2 bucks charge BUT if you use google pay in banxa it’s no fees!

@@DidCoding unfortunately after doing the calculation banxa through hashpack takes 3% fee. Tested it out. I bought $50 of hbar and got 961 hbar. On Binance at same time also bought $50 of hbar and got 1006 hbar. Hbar was at .0488 so $50 should of got me 1024 bars. Using banxa through hashpack got me about 3% less. With Binance.US transfer fee of 1 Hbar lol makes sense to use Binance then transfer to hashpack.
