How to Stamp and Mask Florals into Containers: A Year of Flowers 3

Today I will show you masking tricks and coloring tips to create gorgeous stamped arrangements like this beautiful tub of flowers with my new A Year of Flowers 3. This elemental set has all the flowers, stems, leaves and fillers you'll need to keep you equipped and busy all year! Gina K. Pure Luxury Powder Blue (4 ¼” c 8 ½” , scored at 4 ¼”) and White (4 1/8” x 4 1/8”)
Gina K. Grass Green, Fresh Asparagus, Memento Tuxedo black ink pads
Spectrum Noir markers-GG2, BGR4, CT3, CT4, TB3, TB4, IB3, CR2, CR5, DR1, DR6, DG3
Scissors and copy paper for masking, adhesive, acrylic blocks

I SO needed this tutorial. I have some kind of mental disconnect when it comes to masking, etc.! Hah! Thank you for this lesson, which is so good and helpful! I sometimes use masking paper, but my favorite to use is the 3M Post-It Notes that have full adhesive on the back. They are stronger than the masking paper, more readily available, less expensive, and hold up well! Now, I'd better get to masking!

Wow...what a great technique to know about. Gorgeous cards. I have the Beyond Baskets stamps, but was unsure about the masking. Thank you very much for showing how you achieved the flowers hanging over the edge. Makes sense now!!

I like the sample sheet you showed at the end with the stamp and stamped off...this would be a great help showing many colors with the same ink at a glance! Beautiful job on your card. The tub looks just like metal.

I love the flower stamp sets and hope to get them all, as well as the containers.In the Stately Flowers sets, do you have one for New Jersey? I haven't been able to find one, but that's not rare, for me not to see something that is there. I especially like it that there are stamp sets that are so versatile and the flowers that are so lovely. Thanks.

+Melanie Muenchinger It's all right--I'm just glad you found and answered my question.  I want to get the states flowers collection.  We are originally from NJ and I realized I couldn't find a sheet with NJ on it, so I had to ask.  : ) and now I know, so thank you.  Now all I have to do is have enough money to get them all.Woods violets are good, so I'd better git  going and start collecting.Oh, and I did get the Year of Flowers 3! Love it.
