I understand what you're saying but my ex husband didn't want me to lose weight and look good because he was afraid he would lose me. Said that he liked bigger women, ended up losing myself and gaining weight because I was suppressing my emotions. Yes attractiveness matters and making an effort to do your best is important, that being said I would want him to feel good about himself and for me to feel good about myself. As growing humans we are always a work in progress.

I agree 💯percent. Through out the years, I just completely struggled with insecurities and completely lost it. I feel safe to say that it was my mindset at that time. My weight play a big part of it alone with my smile. Labossiere that's why I love listening to your messages because you challenge me to be the best me I can be. With that being said just a start, I am cutting back on calories, drinking more water, eating more veggies and more fruits, I'm getting ready to start school for Business Management and Accounting after my divorce finalize, in between time I am going to work on my style I have to learn what works for me. Then before you know it. Hopefully I will be shopping for a wedding dress and beautiful lingerie😊❤. Yes I do agree it's much work to be done on my end.

I literally dated a guy that did not even care too much about his appearance that much, I get it. We can all dress casual and comfortable at days. But when he will take me out I always make sure my appearance is looking spot on for the sake of me and for him just to make sure that I'm looking Polish 🥰and looking beautiful to get his attention regardless. He does compliment me regardless what I wear. And that is sweet, but he sees that I'm doing this for him. Should show that he should take care of his appearance as well. Cause sometimes he will pull up to a date. And just look like he just got out of bed. I'm not saying you gotta look all dressed up all the time, but Polish yourself. Cause if I'm looking good, I'm representing the relationship and you should be looking good too, to represent me as well. And the point where you got me at the end of the video? He never really liked talking a lot and communicating? And that's something I needed and he will bring app all The Times he done good things for me and all The Times I told him I just want you to communicate with me as much as that is important as well. And he makes a big deal about it. Cause he does not value the relationship or me period😒

But I am aware of the thin line between looking good and showing off to the world how good you look bordering narcissism and entering the crazy competition. I want to be silently looking good. To know how good i look, you must see me in person. Not online where everything can be fake

I love to dress, and extra special for my guy... in my last relationship, my ex fiance would be speechless when I'd walk out the room, ready to go out. What got me was he didn't care to do the same after some years, he said he didn't need to impress nobody, he already got his woman. I asked what about for me... not much changed 🤦🏽‍♀️

I believe in always looking presentable. However, I don’t feel as though, I should have to change my appearance for him! For example, if I don’t want to wear make-up, he should accept that. If you’re talking about staying healthy and up-keep, I agree the woman should want to look good for her man in that regard and vice versa! The most important thing to me is having the love and peace of God on your life! That’s attractive! No that’s very attractive!❤
