I dig the content, and I’m generally a positive person so don’t take this the wrong way BUT - some of the numbers thrown around don’t add up. It’s extremely difficult if not impossible to yield almost a million dollars in revenue in one year on 2k a month in advertising. Most companies allocate 10-15% of their gross revenues to advertising and marketing. Start ups can go even twice that. Also his sub contractors are definitely not well paid considering his pricing.

If he's making he could make 30,000/month with 30% margins and make $9,000 or 60,000/month with 10% margins and make 6,000/month. So how do his margins compare to his competition?

I got a decent understanding of LBO and private company valuations through my job o Wall street. Big problem #1... The cleaning service business he runs will push most (not all) investors away. Paying a $10m price tag that does $450K per year?? it's insane. The average price tag is about 7X a firm's net income. The average software company sells for 12-18X their revenues. To put this into perspective... He is asking 10X their revenues!!! So he is basically saying the company has the growth prospect that of a software company? .. The actual worth it about $5M flat.

120 for 3 hrs that's unbelievable I need more information as to how that is possible I wouldn't even get out of bed for that. How can you charge 120 for a deep clean and yet make 45% profit?
@UpFlip2 жыл бұрын
This is for one service Pa Fish. Do you feel it should be more or less?
@pa.fishpreacher61662 жыл бұрын
@@UpFlip A deep clean would take longer so I would think it would be more. Maybe I am not understanding something here, but if $120 is charged and 45% of that is profit, the remaining amount is not much considering the job is deep cleaning

Yeah, general rule of thumb for buying a business is making your money back in five years. He should be asking for half of what he is asking. I feel like he was basing his price on projected sales, but nobody cares about that. They want to see the cold hard cash.

None of his numbers he's throwing out jive. 1000 reoccurring clients per month? With a staff of 20? With revenue of $1M? Even if these were just ALL monthly visits (most people like 2 times month)... That's just $83 in gross revenue per recurring customer per month. You can't book an appointment for the smallest APARTMENT for that much. And that does not include NEW business which he says is 60% of his revenue. He blurted out at $10M valuation? LOL. I hate to be a hater, but please. Any person who actually runs a business can pick off these fake claims. As someone who is investigating starting a cleaning business (after running several other types) this video just throws me off track.
