How To Start A Battle Vest

I'm in my 50's and back in the 80's we didn't even call them battle vests, they were just a uniform of non uniformity. I'm starting a project of a new battle vest as mine got lost to history and bad relationships. I came across your channel while checking if I'm too old ha. We did used to sew our patches on with dental floss rather than thread back then, just a couple of stitches each side holds strong.
