Thanks so much big sister for your education. I will soon reach out to you in Tamale for farm visit. My farm construction is underway and nearly completed at lonto near Salaga.

Your video is full of information but it would have been better if you had added videos and pictures of cattle during your description of them

With all due respect I salute you and respect what you’re doing. However, my issue is why and when did everyone in Ghana became experts in farming? We have 40 skinny animals and all of a sudden we want to teach people how to while people with 2000 Are quiet!

Thank you for this video. I'm thinking of starting a cattle business as investment, 1. so do you advice i buy them young male and female so they can give birth 2. How long do i need to feed them before selling. 3. Is it advisable to employ the fulani men to take care of it Lastly, can they feed only on grass?
@findingyineme3 ай бұрын
Congratulations on your decision. If it's young like ours, it will take you at least 2 years before u can make good profit from them. If u are in a place where the females can not exercise, then it's not advisable. If you are buying females, it's better to get ones that are near birth. Yes, they can feed on only grass, but they will grow relatively slow compared with when u add carbohydrates rich diet. I hope it helps

Great information. Can you give us an idea of weight of any breed at 9 months and the expected weight gain if fed well two years after. Also, what is the best available and reasonably priced feed to give them for maximum weight gain. Thank you.
@findingyineme2 ай бұрын
@Dumeme510 usually for the fulani and gudali at 9 months they should be around 100kg. The problem is, in the open market, nothing is guaranteed. If your feeding is great it should gain about 0.5 kg daily. U should feed energy high diet and some roughage with protein. Feed u can use include Cassava Cassava peels Yam peels Corn Corn chaff Rice bran Wheat bran Waste flour from grinding mills Soybeans Malt or brewers waste Palm kernel mill The stovers of grains Husk of beans, pigeon pea, Soybeans Rice straw (treated) Grass- can be brachiaria, elephant grass etc. Multivitamins U choose the mix that works for u. Hope it helps

Please mama What’s the best month in the dry season to buy cattle in the north?
@addoboafo899711 ай бұрын
Please if i want to keep my cows for 4 to 6 months and sell, what is the best cow to keep, Raji or gudali. And at what rate can i buy such cows from the North. I want to go into cow fattening business Ma'am
@findingyineme11 ай бұрын
You may not easily get a mature gudali bull to buy in the open market. So I will say raji. The least price you may get for a mature bull is around 12,000gh. Hope it helps. All the best
