@@LuziaMoba Hi, no we aren’t using a Franchise. We started basically just word of mouth. I would recommend using some money towards advertising like Yelp instead of paying for a franchise. Its doesn’t have to be so expensive. Eventually you will get a call from a commercial company opportunity. If you’re looking for residential work, there will be lots of leads on yelp. I have found that walking into businesses is also very effective. Just get your name out there and the work will come. You’re in the right business! 🙌 I do recommend getting a liability insurance to start. As you get clients you might want to look into a bond insurance as well. Then you can become an LLC to cover your personal assets. Trust me, you can do it! Good luck 👍 and let me know if you have any other questions 😊💙

I am now a licensed LLC Cleaning Company 🎉 I haven’t marketed yet but they found me on my website but had my 1st renovation clean today 🙌 But to be honest I’m still stuck on fees, purposals, bids 😞 They say fees are higher here in Cali. I know the main focus here is big boys big bank, but I’m just trying to start a business to do by my lonesome. I’m not the type to tell people what to do, nor do I want to depend on people to show up and get the job done. I just feel more confident on my own. Do you think I can still be successful in this field that way? And what type of places would you recommend I clean? I’ve basically worked in every setting already. You can def make some good money , it’ll essentially be a role of being a highly paid employee. The best thing to note in terms of optimizing your income (assuming you work solo) would be : the higher the frequency of the service the lower the pay per hour will be in the market aka the lower the frequency the higher the pay per hour I would recommend taking what you can get in the beginning and over time creating a solid portfolio of 1x per week accounts where you can be charging $50-$80/hr or more. The main downside is that it’s typically weekend work for 1x per week accts (Fri-Sun after hours) . So sprinkling in 2x, maybe even 3x per week accts could help occupy you during the week if needed

Absolutely! Since you have experience, just choose the types of buildings that you liked cleaning the most and only go after those. Also make sure to get Worker's Comp and Healthcare coverage for yourself so if you get hurt you won't be financially ruined. Other than that you'll be great. Plenty of freedom and paid better than most
