depends. if its multi color using 4 color process the break down will be CMYK but if its a multi SPOT color design you would call out each color in the design.

Cost of multi color vs single for the sheets? Can you do photos vs graphics like you have? Thanks for the great content
@BigBrandoh5 жыл бұрын
yes you can do photos. for photos i would recommend a 4 color process print. price depends on size of sheet, company you are going thru, quantity of transfers. with all printing, the more you order the cheaper per piece it will be. if you plan to do a small quantity i would look into a local shop i your area that has a DTG machine. would be more cost effective

How do I get rid of the square around the design after I take the shirt off my press? Dope videos by the way, always solid info.
@BigBrandoh5 жыл бұрын
is the square, discoloration in the shirt? or just a indent in the shirt from the heat press. if its just a indent you can adjust your pressure or you can iron it out or let the customer iron the shirt. its cuz the shirt is under the press so its like ironing a big square, so the sleeves and rest of the shirt didnt get ironed hahahaa. but if its discoloration, you could be scorching the shirt so you have to adjust your heat or might be the pigment in the shirt that heat makes the pigment turn darker but once the shirt coole it goes away. check out my newest video for an example of that.

I have money to pay for any work but the first place I went with my designs and concepts told me how dope it was, agreed to burn my first screen then a week later said they couldn't do it then changed their company name and slogan biting mine and refuse to communicate with me. @liteweaver4 жыл бұрын
hi brando im also interested on the process since i like screen printing in terms of quality. So that means you send them your design to companies that offer plastisol and they gave that transferred design to you and you heat press it? do you stock your transfered design or you just get the transfered design as order comes bec i believe you have to wait for your design bef you be able to put in production. and lastly is the cost of producing tshirt design with plastisol lower compared to other process? Thanks
@BigBrandoh4 жыл бұрын
this method is cheaper price wise, quality it is the same. screen printers use plastisol inks when they screen print onto a shirt. same ink same printing process but instead of it goin on a shirt, it goes on a transfer sheet. you cure it on the shirt with your heat press instead of a conveyor belt dryer. i stock transfers and blank shirts. press the shirts as orders come in. no orders come in, no shirts get wasted or used. controling my inventory is the biggest selling point to this method

its all in the application process. when applied correctly the transfer will out live the t shirt its pressed on. cracking and peeling happen when its not applied correctly. even traditional screen printing can crack if its not applied correctly. i suggest ordering some samples, test them out with your set up and adjust your settings as you test it out. wash your samples and see how it holds up.
