Most helpful thing I got out of this video is "It takes time" , be smart about your decisions, you aren't every other successful youtuber you are you and your success is based on you, be smart about monitization, Play the long game, and focus on the content and the community and success will come with it. Consistency and persistence is key to success on youtube but it isnt everything, get the ugly videos out of the way so you can find the style of content that suits you!

I've used your advice Blake, and a few others and have managed 1290 subs as of today. I started a little over a year ago. I'm monetized but it's not sustainable as a full time job yet. If I had money to invest in my channel I could make videos my community wants but I have a family of 4 and another family of 1 that I pay for every month. But I feel blessed I've made it past 1000 when nobody believed I could do it. I know people in my genre that took 8+ yrs to pass 1000 subs so I know I just gotta keep going and I'll hit 10k then 100k then 1m subs!!! Just find people that are successful in your genre and replicate them in your style. No brained. Good luck to everyone else trying to get to 1k!!

What works is testing out different niches you have interest in, post 5 videos and see what KZbin reacts best to. Then continue down the line of the best preforming videos/channel. I had 8 different channels and posted 2 or more videos a week on them. One is blowing up, so I’m only focusing on that one. To grow, you need to find gaps in KZbin and post great videos in those gaps.

My goal for 2022 is to be more consistent with my upload schedule. My older videos are the ones that always bring in the lion's share of views and money and my newer ones get buried as soon as I make them public, which leaves me discouraged so I don't post anything for awhile. I realized that while I was growing in subs, I wasn't growing a community at all. So while I'll still upload the quick tutorials I'm known for, I'm branching out into other topics like freelancing to share my experiences and to help up-and-coming freelancers as well.

Good advice Roberto. It's about the long game. I enjoy watching you, Nick Nimmon, and occasionally Brian G Johnson. I have, within the last two weeks, hit the 1000 subs threshold. I had to take a break for a little while, but I'm back. Sometimes reminding myself why I'm here helps. For me, it's not about the money as much as it's about the viewers. I teach camping skill to youth. I've done so since 1985. I started KZbin to get their attention. And offer an experience that taught the skills and did so in a family friendly atmosphere. That continues to drive me. Many of the kids I teach have no father figure to look up to, it is my mission to be an example for them. Weather boy, or girl. I was one of those kids as a youth. For a short time, I had an older gentleman take me under his wing. It was short lived due to his health. But it gave me a glimpse of what mentorship was like. Thank you for your encouragement. It means a lot.

Good advice man. I'm just starting to do youtube videos so only got like 23 subs. I've been helping companies over the last 4 years with their marketing and we have done over $23M in extra revenue so going to start doing training videos. It's def hard at the start as no one knows who you are or even cares. What I find interesting is Mr Beast in his first year only had like 46 subs after doing 18 videos. That actually blows my mind because most people would have quit then. 18 videos, 46 subs, I'd say 99% of people would have quit and I think he was very close to quitting as well. I am going to push for regular videos 3-4 x per week and see what I can do in the next few years. Also, you're so right about the long game. The people that I help (off youtube) most of them think they can be millionaires by working 1-2 hours per day and it's frustrating to be the only coach that tells them it's impossible to do that with 1-2 hours per day. You actually got to put the work in and work 10-15 hour days until things start taking off. It's actually a lot of hard work. Goon on you for saying it how it is Got yourself a sub ;)

Manifested this. Still learning but man, i'd never thought people would watch our stuff. Boy was I wrong. There are people out there who consume KZbin videos DAILY. There's plenty of human beings out there for everyone to have an audience with. Start your KZbin Journey right now. Just upload and learn more along the way. My check list is almost complete. Started last year in October. Already at 202 subs. It takes time, but you gotta just start!

I started this new channel this year, Jan 2nd 2022. This is not my first channel but is preforming very well. I think this channel can hit those milestones you are listing but that will likely take some time. However I think if people making money part time it's successful too because even that alone is super hard to do. This channel will be 2 months old soon and it's already at 750 hours watch time so i'd say that's pretty decent. Subs come along the way as the content delivers. I agree, niche down does make the most sense since I am doing that on this channel and that's what's working. Great video as always Roberto!

This video is Gold! The tricks and the trades + the time to time realistic yet the motivation talks is what most of the small starting out creators needed to hear. 🎉✨

Thanks Roberto, extremely high value as always 🙏. Yea, I’d say again the fact that I need to accept how long it takes to succeed. 😉 And I’d like to learn more about how to actually “get people to buy from my affiliate links in my videos“ 🙈

Really relate to so much of this thank you for making this video. Just hit 1k myself and whilst I am so grateful- the graft is real and I am still learning with every video. I also don't take anything for granted when it comes to this platform. My ethos has always been the same...trying to add value to others first rather than thinking about the financial rewards or just doing it for that purpose.

Great tips - awesome to see a creator helping others who want to jump in to the Creator Economy!
