With the Polaris adventure program, how do you go about charging the customer for a credit. And how do you promote it? I’ve tried to find more information with no luck. Do you have them contact the adventure agent directly or is it through you?

Go to the Polaris Adventures website, fill out a request to be an outfitter, and a rep will get ahold of you. He/she can walk you through every question you have. It's a great program.

Does the cost of fleet insurance fluctuate depending upon the amount of machines you have and do they offer discounts to larger fleets? If a customer isn't at fault when an accident accures do you still charge them for damages and could they have a potential lawsuit against your company if you do so? What are the most expensive repairs that could happen parts wise?

Good questions: They charge a certain amount for each machine in your fleet. So, the price just goes up. There are only a couple reasons the customer wouldn't be at fault. 1. They're sitting still and someone else hits them. 2. You rented them a faulty machine that failed and caused the accident. In that case, eah, there could be a lawsuit if someone was inurred. When a serious injury does occur and a lawsuit is brought, one of the first things that will be requested by the court is to ground the vehicle so it can be inspected by the court via an independent expert. This is why maintenance and dailt inspections are very important. Expensive repairs? That depends on the year, make, and model. Every machine has a week point that can be costly. The biggest expense you're going to see is belts and primary clutches. Polaris and Can-Am require new a new belt every 300 - 400 miles unless you want to recover a broke down machine on the trail and deal with an unhappy customer. The primary clutch will need rebult every 750 - 1000 miles. That will usually cost around $400 if you do the work yourself. As for tip overs: It's rare to see damages under $1500 (your cost for parts).
