I bought the Kelly Creates brush pen trio set. The large brush tip seems extremely thick and is very difficult to get thins no matter how lightly I press. Any suggestions anyone?

Press harder to get thick downstrokes. Then your upstrokes will seem thinner. The upstrokes with the large tip are not going to be super thin.

I’m a lefty too! Thanks for this article, can you get Funda to do a video? I’m very visual. I’m an underwriter, for normal writing hold my paper at a 90° angle , but I struggle holding it this way for hand lettering, now I’m holding the paper upright and using horizontal writing, works much better!

How cool! You and other brush lettering gurus (and your followers) are influencing Amazon. On the HP Premium Laser Jet page, the Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen 2 Pens Set is listed with the paper as "Frequently bought together". Thank you for sharing your teaching with so many. Your practice sheets are great, but I wanted to point out an option for those that have progressed to wanting to draft out "art" pieces such as a quote to be framed, etc. My printer has pre-installed wide and narrow notebook lines and grid lines. Your viewers might want to check their printer manual to see if they have that option.
