Fear of the unknown is controlling so many people's lives. They are afraid to speak up or try and take a risk because they do not know what the outcome will be and which will, in turn, lead to external judgment from the people around them. The truth is that this is an inside game. If taking a risk is what feels right to you and makes you happy, don't be afraid to try because other people might think it's stupid. Who cares what they think?

I’d watch these man , make 1,000 videos a year and put out 200 of the best one you create. My buddy does KZbin and this seems like the algorithm to success. Another thing would be posting minimum two to three times a week of good content. Don’t give up if you’re at 600 it can easily be 6000, but you have to want it. Set a small goal for your channel and then destroy that goal. 10/10 it’s gonna work and the momentum of the small wins is. Going to blow your mind. Hope all is well man keep doing your thing , hope all works out for the best!

I say this as much as I get on my 30 yr old about being at home not working. Thought he really did not care. But last night I was not well and was having breathing problems to calm me he played some healing frequency music and then he recorded me omg I never thought about what he might be going through. Most times he acts like he don t care but one time before same thing happened and we play healing tones of God's creation and even I was surprised at the affects. So thank you to my son I love you very much thank you for sitting with me. I'm sorry you had to see that. Hope you like your new job🤗no know i do lol

Helicopter parenting is what is causing people to feel entitled and lack self-esteem in real life. I'm speaking from personal experience. There is an amazing book called - The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem by Nathaniel Branden. One of the pillars is -The Practice of Self-Responsibility. Without this pillar, you will not be able to develop self-esteem.

For as much as I love Gary I do hope he starts to think those of us who have all the difficulties and have been fighting for years but because of outside forces like racism in the system, or the fact that people won't deal with you simply because of how you look. I know his motto, "if someone like you has made it then you can too." That's not how life actually works. By generalizing like he does he can make people who have been doing the things and not have success feel like a failure. I know his self-awareness speech but I do hope he at some point stops generalizing and start speaking to who he means. Middle-class, white people. I know its hard growing up the way he did but how did he have to worry about being killed? How long did have to deal with a neighborhood that is literally a war zone. Everyone can watch his stuff, so maybe he should act like he truly understands that. This comes from a black man that lives in an area where if I spend my time with black people I have to concern my self with dealing with people who I honestly trust or everyone who is always one moment away from calling the cops because I scare them. Life here and many places around the world is much complicated than his sound bites like to make it. I do hope one day he begins to take this into account when goes one his "you aren't winning because you buy dumb shit," rants. Outside of all that I do love his shit.

For me, I'm incredibly introverted and used to get ridiculed for it as a kid. It carried over into adulthood which led to me being scared to make a mistake. Therefore, I always take the safe route but it's created a glass ceiling. I also have kids, and while they're my greatest blessing, I'm also afraid to take risk out of fear of fucking things up for them. I can deal with things not going well for me but I can't see my kids struggle even for a minute. I don't know what to do honestly. Tired of being "doing ok." Not sure what possessed me to vent this in a youtube comment section by the way lol

I hear either/or thinking which I recognize because it, too, has plagued me all my life. I have spent many hours thinking about this and can trace this back to growing up hearing criticism, never praise. Not "great job on all of your A's" but "Why did you get that one "B"? I believe this drives me to do what I feel certain about so I won't make a mistake and won't risk being criticized. It also caused me to see things in black and white and I've worked hard to edge into the grey zone in-between. That, to me, is taking a risk. And that is how I'm learning to get past the "do it all the way or nothing" mentality that held me back in fear. I'm not going to quit my job and risk my financial future on a dream, but I can begin taking steps in that direction WHILE working. And damn it's a lot harder later in life than earlier but at least it gives me hope. Maybe the same is true for you. You don't have to look at it as fucking up your kids' lives by leaping out into something but rather, ask yourself what steps can you take in that direction while ensuring your kids are financially secure. It's hard, I'm not gonna lie. But it is what makes me come alive and feel hopeful and also in recently taking a big risk at work that got rejected, I discovered it didn't knock me down, it made me more determined to keep moving in the direction I want to go. I surprised myself by that reaction. By taking small risks, we stretch our comfort zone and grow our resilience. That is what I have learned. Good luck in your journey.

Dear Gary I did have something happen today that scared the living daylights out of me. I was contacted by an individual from Iran who presented himself as an Islamic convert to Christianity who was in danger of losing his life, and he wanted me to self-publish a book for him here in the United States that has political overtones. And first I said yes and then I changed my mind and said no, it’s too risky for the both of us. Because if he is the real deal, he could lose his life, and if not, and he is really an agent trying to publish Iranian propaganda, I could lose my freedom. There are some things that are too risky, and I think this is one of them.

And this place was like in the back. Back.and he wasn't there but the doors were locked so I went around the building and tried some more doors. I was by one door and I saw my 6th grade Ela teacher. I banged on the door shouting her name and just when I was about to give up she turned around and I was able to get back I'm charge my phone and call my step dad the kinda funny thing was when I was in her room when I called my step dad he goes "WHERE THE **** ARE YOU"

Yeah these millennials really do feel entitled. My daughter is 13 and an only child by me, she lives with me. She’s an A student self motivated on the dance team and junior honors society at school and she has her moments of feeling entitled 🤨 so started her volunteering at the age of 11 she loves it 🤔 she now wants to start babysitting or making lip gloss to sell. I told her sure over the Christmas break I will her with making and selling lipgloss. I don’t think she’d even have those thoughts if she didn’t first start with volunteer work. So I’m happy that she’s trying to create opportunity for herself at 13.

Shitting on millenials, new parents and the concept of empathy while trying to make a point about going outside your comfort zone. Great message. Do you ever go outside of your comfort zone of believing you're always right while everyone else must be wrong, Gary? Because last time I checked, no generation is superior. They just have different challenges, different perspectives, which is why they don't always understand each other. Perfect example right here. Maybe young people started following you and watching your content because you say bold black and white things and display a vast array of silly gestures in a very short amount of time. But word of advice, I would seriously rethink that strategy. It's funny to a point, until people start to question your intelligence.

Nobody thinks that 9th place is good. How stupid do you think millennials are? The fact that even Gary Vee is out of touch with the real challenges of millennials today is shocking to me. My friend's mom bought a house and a piece of land in her 20's by owning a very small, very humble, moderately priced, food store. Today, millennials can't even RENT a house on the same amount of money. When our parents graduated, they had lifetime well- paying, salary jobs, if they went to college and felt like getting one. Sometimes not even if they got to college. Now, for millennials college educated and non- college educated, everyone is expected to have had 7 jobs before they retire, according to an authority publication on careers in America. High high level of uncertainty compared to our parents.
