Thank you for this tutorial! I was reluctant to spend the ~10m ISK after losing 2 Herons in wormholes. I even survived the Skybreaker with this build so that's awesome! Made up the ship's in about an hour. The part about skills was so useful too. Looking forward to more builds, maybe a T1 next? :) cheers

Lost a Corax to the Skybreaker too but won't ask for the new ship. Really enjoy your videos and because of them I made way more ISK than I lost. Also: Don't fly what you cannot afford to loose ;)

Hey just to point out,a low sp punisher is able to kill the skybreaker.Especially your t1 abyssal punisher.

Yup very true! Its also more loot because of the 3x frig bonus. Reason i went with dessies is its a lot easier to achieve the required dps to break skybreakers with lower sp

Nice video ... one more thing to add to this: when you get into optimal of your target, turn OFF the MWD. Your ship going really fast makes your turrets "work extra hard" to track the target, going slower helps your turrets land more shots (same thing does not go the other way around as the MWD gives you a larger signature radius, so you slowing down while your signature radius going down as well mostly cancels it's self out. Have fun in the abyss and stay safe o7

Thank you for this nice reliable fitting for the Thrasher. I would be very happy if you could suggest a Thrasher fitting (Alpha only) that works for Gamma, Firestorm, Dark and Exotic sites. I have some thoughts myself, but I lack the experience and I can't really afford to test my fitting live at the moment - the loss would hurt a lot 🥴 Final question does your Thrasher electrical fitting work for T1 electrical sites too?

cool vid aceface, never knew you will compensate some peoples losses when they used your fit :P i have been doing the t0 abyss in a kestrel, and only get blown by either the angel spawn or the skybreaker spawn, in other spawns it works pretty fine xD btw, you doing this guristas event thing? with good time investment, it get's pretty profitable..(though i doubt, as you are already very rich, it will barely be profitable to you :P)

Using a Minmatar ship for electrics? Even a nooby Punisher with 130+ DPS is much better for T1 electrics. If you have like 140+ electric DPS and 40+ armor repairment (or 30+ rep with 50%+ tank), you're most likely complete 99% of all rooms. The only room i couldn't complete with a punisher was the one with THREE Sansha Devoted Hunters. Any T0 abyss can be completed by any frigate that has 110+ DPS in Thermal (for the Skybraker) and 20+ armor or shield rep.

I somehow got through a 3 skybreaker wave in a T2 Gamma with a Talwar, but was quite touch and go. Those things hit hard.

@@solitude9875 I think I've posted this before but here it is: [Talwar, MWD PVE Abyss] Micro Auxiliary Power Core II Ballistic Control System II Small Ancillary Armor Repairer 5MN Quad LiF Restrained Microwarpdrive Small Cap Battery II Medium Shield Extender II Rocket Launcher II X7 Small Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I Small Bay Loading Accelerator I Tank is still pretty fragile, so you have to rely on a lot of Javelin rockets to offset damage or even running away to wait for shield regen, but needing to make a correct judgment towards rage to quickly burn down high priority targets can be pretty essential. Also, running in Gammas does help out the shield quite a bit. Those skybreakers required me to run away after burning one down.

Thank you for your tutorials including this one! I worked my way over to Jita from Dodixie to purchase this ship and fit. I wanted to try Abyssal, and your fit looked like a good way to start. You would not believe my surprise when the first ship I faced, in the first room, of the first try at Abyssal was the Skybreaker. I got a bit more damaged then you did...but it still easly made it through. Thank you again for taking the time to put this together.

T0 is easy. I have Thasher fit worth only 3.8 M and I can do any T0 kind of abyss electric, gamma, exotic about ~8-10 min. The problem is T1. I lost 4 ships worth 16 m each, I don't know what i am doing wrong. In zkillboard I can't see my recent dies to add a link.

To be honest, I still doing t0 electrical abyss with your corax fitt, and no problem is like... Imposible to die XD, I don't think the mistake was the fitt, I think some ppls maybe haven't used the ship properly o don't undestern it.. Kee doing the good work man!

Hey, I ran the corax fit before this, and remember leaving a comment after being destroyed by the skybreaker dysparu troop. thank for making this new fit, i just easily beat the skybreaker :) its cheaper as well, gj. takes a good man to own up to a mistake like that. you've earned my respect and my subscription :)

i have a question about filament modifiers: is nessecerily to run t0 exotic and electric? Why not rest of them? I run t0 exotic rn, and electric t1 scares me, especially after losing vexor there

Thanks for the vid! Btw, any particular reason why you are using armor tanking instead of shield tanking? I'm using passive shield tanking in my Thrasher succesfully with T0 Firestorm and Gamma filaments.

Good idea! It's more tank with dual armour reps, trying to be extra safe. But tbh a passive fit like you're doing sounds very good too,plus extra damage

I just feel like I have more time to react if they burn through my shields instead of my armour. I'll give your fit a shot too and see how it feels like :)

I'm using this fit myself: 7*250mm Light 'Scout' Artillery I Compact Multispectrum Shield Hardener 1MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner Medium Shield Extender I 2*Counterbalanced Compact Gyrostabilizer Small Projectile Burst Aerator I Small Thermal Shield Reinforcer I Small EM Shield Reinforcer I Republic Fleet Fusion S 218,3 dps and 6 368 ehp with my skills :) Just orbit the can, kill everything, pop the can and move on. Occasionally I'll wait for the shield to recharge back to 80% before continuing. Safety first :) Works great for the T0 Gamma and Firestorm filaments. Sometimes I have done also Exotic and Electrics. Not my fit though, the credit goes to Dan the Coomer: abyss.eve-nt.uk/fit/4116?page=1 Edit: this fit can be a close call with Skybreaker Dispary Troop in Firestorm. I was just left with 18% armor. In these conditions, using Republic Fleet EMP S would work better. Also I could propably fly better :'D

Hi @Aceface, I'm sorry to say it to you, but this of yours isn't working either. Today I saw your video, checked that my caracters skills are a bit better than what you shown, so I built the ship ( which costed me 14m). On the second run I found the skybreaker and it easily destroyed my ship, while I barely took down it's shield. If you don't belive my here's the report. zkillboard.com/kill/96676689/
