I 100% agree with you. I feel like I am the only architect trying to best herself in the world because there is no open conversations and open knowledge and skill sharing channels. Thanks for doing what you do!

Hello! I really enjoyed this podcast and the way it was formatted that enabled me to listen to it while working, I have a few questions that maybe you can reply to here or discuss more for your next podcast. 1. Did you start with grasshopper and rhino without prior knowledge of coding? 2. How long did it take for you to realize that you are proficient enough? Do you still look at online help when you get stuck or are you able to work around it? 3. Is it still beneficial to learn when you belong to a small firm whose main expertise is in residential projects? 4. Do you have other resources aside from Tedeschi's AAD that helped you a lot in learning? Thanks!

Hi Diego! Thank you for your feedback! Regarding your questions: 1. You don't need to have prior knowledge of coding when you start learning grasshopper. At least I didn't have it. 2. It's difficult to say when I realize I am proficient enough. My goal is to learn something new and improve my skills on a daily basis. Definitely, I am still looking online for certain problems when I get stuck. There are a lot of amazing guys out there who are willing to share their knowledge. 3. It is absolutely beneficial. People usually relate grasshopper with complex geometries, but it is not always used for that purpose. You can use grasshopper for some simple task which could save you a lot of time. 4. You can check books Generative Algorithms and Mode Lab Grasshopper. There are quite old but could be beneficial as well. We are planning to launch our Grasshopper course for beginners (plus exercises) in a few months. I would highly recommend to all you guys who are planning to start learning. Lazar
