Im 43 yr old convert, muslim for 20 years alhamdullilah. After alot of setbacks with trying to study and painful experiences i decided to begin a journey of hifdh. Its been a painful process. If Dawoud Yahya or shaykh sees this, please contact me brother, I could sure use some guidance and advice. Also i love listening to sh. Yunus Aswailis (warsh, morocco) and The riwaya of Khalaf an hamza. However like most, i am learning hafs. Will thos cause problems? The only hafs i seem to listen to that isnt too fast is Sh. Husary who is just MashAllah

I feel like my memorization is slowing down because I am revising 3-4 juz a day on top of repeating a page 300 or more times . Should I decrease the amount of daily revision

Finding this episode very long and unnecessarily drawn out.The answers to the aspiring hafidh's questions could have been more succinct and to the point. Lost interest when the answer was irrelevant.
