Wonderful video. My baby just turn 4 months. However, we always had a feeding problem because of my oversupply of breast milk which causes her to choke and vomit during feedings, no matter what position we placed her in. She also refuses bottles. I tried spoon-feeding, cup feeding and syringe feeding her as well when she was younger but it didn't worked. However, i tried spoon-feeding this morning and she was more willing to take it from the spoon for a good while before she started fussing. I think i will add a little rice cereal to my breastmilk and spoon feed her just to see if it will help better with feedings. Thanks so much🥰

Wow! What a lovely paediatrician. You explained well. I just started feeding my baby solids once a day. Carrot puree and avocado puree. She loves them. I will increase to twice a day then three times. She will be 5months on 5th July 2023. She has been ready to feed since she was able to sit and hold her neck. She even tries to sit up when she is lying down and you put your hand underneath her back😂. So i just waited for her to be close to 5months atleast. And i got her a feeding chair for 6months - 3years old on Amazon (Yoleo brand) its waterproof and has cushion. Easy to clean and fold away👌.

I think its different for different babies. My son completely refused solids till 7 months. My daughter now 4 months n she is super into solid foods however still dont know how poop time will be becz my son despite rejecting solids he also had constipation every time he had abit. Please don't start ur baby on rice cereal, start on baby oatmeal cereal .. to avoid constipation.. ( small amounts tsp a day) after 7 months try a lil rice but oatmeal is healthier.. Most Dr say start solids at 6mo also.. be cautious..

Amber Belton wow O_0 I agree that is weird & (be sure he's getting enough fluid on whatever she feed him).. some babies are able to digest Rice sooner than others BUT when it comes to constipation studies show rice thickens stool which is why pediatricians recommended Rice for diarrhea. Also rice is just an empty starch but oatmeal has some nutritional value which is why I choose it for my little one. I will give rice a try around 8 months.

My ped recommended rice cereal for my son at 4 months and it worked out great. Breast fed for an entire year. Never had any constipation or issues and now eats everything in sight lol. Every baby is different. And it’s only a recommendation, not gospel.

No. Oatmeal cereal at 4 months old will CAUSE constipation. Rice cereal is lighter and easier on the belly, and it doesn't have oats that a 4 month old baby's stomach cannot digest well, which is what causes the constipation. This is terrible advice to give to people.
