8:42 I can 100% relate to this!!! Except for exercise, I haven't been consistent with my hobbies. I would always start something (painting, sketching, playing instruments etc), be VERY passionate about it for a while then suddenly abandon it and pick it up again one day - and the cycle would repeat over and over again lol. It makes me feel like I am not improving as a person, so I'd like to work on that this year!

Again, this is so great that you get to keep a life on video. We all talk about how cool it would be if us older crowd could look back on our past. I was the one with the camera, so I do have a pretty good view of the late 70's and 80's. Then all of a sudden, film and photo albums went away. Your journal will be nice to look back on when you get to some older age. Now I want to say, I can't wait for the both of you to film a really good snow storm from your place. hey, you might not read this but to whoever reads it: I read something amazing on pinterest the other day and forgive me if the story's a little over the place because well, I just majorly remembered the gist of it. basically, there was this art student who had done some bedazzling to her art project, and her teacher told her that if she loves it she should go all in. the teacher said that he didnt like it and he never will so her diminishing her spirit or her 'art' for other people doesnt matter. she should do as she likes. and she did, she went all in with probably feathers and glitters and sparkles and all of that. the teacher probably didnt like it but it was her project she got good grades and well a life lesson to never depreciate herself for the lack of perspective of others. possibly, one of the best advices. so you do you guys! much love x
