How to start your CAN-AM RYKER

I've had my about a year and a half now and many times i have trouble starting it (sometimes I have to crank it several different times before it catches and hat i mean by catches it almost starts but doesn't) it almost seems like it loses its prime (but after 3 to 5 cranks it does start and runs great (but i never get that beep when I twist my throttle forward). I'm a small engine mechanic but can't figure this out, maybe you have an idea. I don't want to mess with it as long as I can get it to start but if you have a good idea I might try it
