Back on the old FIFA games of around 10 years ago, manager and club prestige were a thing as well. If you were in say, EFL League One, it would be hard to sign a highly rated player. If you tried to negotiate with them, they would usually decline because your team wasn't prestigious enough. Sometimes you could still get them if you offered a really big salary. That's much more realistic than current FIFA games where you can poach an up and coming youth prospect from a big club to a small club, not to mention they will accept a pay cut. That isn't realistic at all.

I Want an in between on the transfer strictness. It's unrealistic if teams don't even listen to offers from rival clubs. Would be much better if they would listen to offers but you are going to have to over pay to get that player

honestly as a person who spends nearly 6 hours on career mode this could be good as career modes offer a bit of hardships and tactical knowledge about the game It's great although these are small improvements (except for the simulation) I just wish you can upgrade your stadium at one point.

Why don't you just basically say its the same game. Just 2 new features. 1st being the sim and the development. When the gameplay is exactly the same say it. I really hope that that the player morale isn't too finicky with teams that have a decent squad size, because that would be problematic. I wonder how the entire squad of a top team can be kept happy because each top club has a lot of players in order to make it to as many finals as they can. Imo each top club should have around 25 players or so, maybe 27 or so as a max. If I were Real Madrid for example, I would ideally want a starting lineup of 11 players that are between 24-27 years old and are in their prime, and are least 85 rated or more. There should also be a 2nd team that consists of players that aren't too far behind the 1st team in terms of quality. I usually use a team of 16-19 year old wonderkids. Finally I have a handful of reserves that hardly play, unless there are injuries, suspensions or tired players in first the two teams. These reserves are made up of older players 30+, who are around 75-80 overall. Ideally they are a 3rd GK, a defender that can play RB,CB and LB, a midfielder that can play CM, CDM and CAM, and the last player is a winger that can also play striker or vice versa. Anyway I really hope that EA doesn't make it too hard to keep players happy in Fifa 21 because players already nagged a lot if they didn't play in Fifa 20. If too many players are required to get game time because they will want to leave otherwise then how are the top teams supposed to get a league's top scorer or top.assists or the most clean sheets with less games played by their top players? Does anyone have a set rule for themselves on how much gametime they grant each player and the details of how to do so? I'd love to know.

So, dont let player training overwhelm you. My meta is, only train the players outside of your first team. The first team will keep all their circles pretty green. The problem is if you dont train your bench or reserves, then the circles decrease. So, make two teamsheets and literally switch after games so your 2nd team is getting trained, increasing their sharpness, morale +fitness. Another tip > for training, throughout pre season actually play the training sessions and get a B or A. Next time this training drill comes up, the players will receive the highest grade they've previously gotten on the drill. So if you have all A's in each drill, your players will always obtain that A > leading to increased sharpness, morale and fitness goes down less.

Remember> training doesn't increase stats, it only keeps players happy etc., so if you want to directly train players > use developmental plan. I trained Leon Bailly through pre season to the end of the window and he obtained 5/wf + 5/SM. I love the dev plan. Helps a lot and eliminates having to always go into the transfer market each window, looking for players with specific stats.

I was frustrated with this in FIFA 20 too! When I played the FIFA 21 beta, when I finished editing a player, it took me back to the edit player menu but I didn’t have to scroll all the way to my team. It was already pre selected. Hopefully it’s updated so that once you’re done, it allows you to select the next player from your team. I think EA have scrapped the catalogue this year and boots will be added automatically. No idea what happens to your EASFC from previous FIFA’s.

honestly I agree, but Im glad they made Manager mode more in depth (not as in-depth as FM21) with these changes. Gameplay is also MASSIVELY improved. I ONLY play manager and player career modes and Ill tell ya, this FIFA is pretty good imo.

It was a bossman so I don't think it's all that unrealistic as that's how most rival transfers happen. I think maybe if a player wants to leave real bad they can allow offers from rivals but you'll have to pay a lot more money but that's just me guessing.

I believe it's for if you're a team that doesn't have their stadium in the game so you can change the generic stadium you have and change the name of it from Ivy Lane or whatever to what the teams actual stadium name is.
