Searched you out, thanks for the helpful video. Seeking advice in a chicken dilemma. My Roo is super sweet and friendly. He and the flock hang out around my house and spends time on my porch. Super sweet but I got chickens to go eat the ticks and I just have a lot of poop to clean off my porch instead. Is there some way to train him to take the flock out to the field? If I stand out there they will too but they follow me back. Sometimes I sneak away but eventually they come looking.

This is late but if you hang out with the chicks and show them you are a friend not a for they can be very cuddly to the point where if you call them they will come to you my chicken is very babied and loves when I go to the backyard to see her

Funfact: they already trust us Without even some Training I would randomly put my hand down the chicks just come rushing and Step on my hand! XD
