20 million equity is a minimal requirement. The equity must be quite liquid but not necessarily in cash. The more equity the better it is. You can bring other assets as equity as a contribution in kind.

It will not help for obtaining the passport but it will help for obtaining the Swiss residence permit. If you set up a Swiss bank you are creating jobs. As you create the job you will receive a permit.
