As a paquito main, this video is a great tutorial for playing paquito! I just want to add a few more tips. In choosing a battle spell, always consider your position in your team and the enemy line up. Mostly, if you're playing paquito as an exp laner, you'd more likely to choose flicker. But, I recommend you to choose battle spells other than flicker, like execute. You can also choose purify when the enemy line up has more cc heroes, or you can choose vengeance whenever you want to go for sustain. In this season, honestly, I'm back on using execute as my primary go to battle spell whenever I use paquito as an exp laner. I also choose to build at least three phy attack and penetration items then 2 defense items depending on the enemy line up.

I also sucked in paq. I used to watch other gameplay and though how in the world is that even humanly possible. Then I started to play him quite often and kept practicing him and now I am in supreme rank with 600+ matches. I would suggest the best way to learn a hero is to practice it yourself.

@@AnAverageSingaporean Just practice him against different heroes. Learn where is weakness is where his strength is. Take advantage of the strength and practice against your weakness. I have seen many players that suddenly start doing hard combos even when they are new to that hero. That is very wrong.Learning the most simple and basic combos then gradually making your combos harder and harder is the key to learning a hero. Don't try doing hard combos. Just play using the most basic combos you know and keep doing it and one day you will suddenly realise that all of a sudden you are somehow able to do hard combos. Without a strong foundation even the tallest towers and strongest towers fall. Whatever hero u use just keep a strong foundation and you will become an expert. Don't expect to become a pro overnight. Especially when his skills on cooldown when to engage in fights and what to do during enhance cooldown? Should I wait till cooldown resets or engage during cooldown? @@Mord997 As I told. 50 matches are not enough. Paq is not an easy hero. You will need to play many more matches than an average hero to actually understand him. He has the most amount of possible combos in the game that's why it is a bit confusing. My best advice and suggestions to you is to practice him in training mode and she all the combos you can do. See what combo is best for a situation. For example. Last night I played against many tanky heroes in the enemy. My normal combos were like a paper to them. So I though of the most effective way to counter them. What I did was instead of trying to fight them I ignored them and went straight for their backline which are generally squishy heroes. Instead of normal combos I used my S1 which gives shield to me after hitting an enemy. So I used S1 more even though his normal combos S1 is not the most important. Honestly I would suggest you to not try any combo as of now. You first understand and learn to use S1 first see where is it useful, how much damage does it do and when to use it and when not to use it. After understanding that you start practicing s2 which is the dash skill. Do the same with s3. Don't try to do any combos. Just practice one skill at a time. After you have improved then you start using S1 and s2 together then include s3 gradually in you combos. And in simple words just keep practicing. And yeah I would highly suggest you to watch combo tutorials. It my sound useless but it was actually the reason I understand the combos. Keep watching good paquito players and keep an eye on the combos they use in different situations. Watch their gameplay and learn what to do and what not to do in a situation. And keep practicing. Gradually increase your hand speed. You will also need a good internet for high speed combos. And learn what items he benefits from and what items counter him. What hero he is good against and what hero he counters. And keep practicing.

As a long time pac main. All I can say is know when to engage and disengage, though there are risks that are unpredictable take the risk which is realistically to happen on your favor. Confidence is key in playing pacquito. I use EXP pacquito, it's more fun being an exp than a JG, imo.

to make it easy, you can make the longest combo with 3 bar stack, next is 2 bar. so be careful if you see paquito with 3 bar stack, he is keeping a huge damage

Long story short Everytime u use skill, get 1 stack At 3 stack, can use any 1 skill with more damage/stun/distance at 0 cooldown Skill 1 gives shield if it hits anything except a minion Enhanced version gives more damage and shield Skill 2 dashes and deals alot of damage Enhanced version does alot of damage Ult dashes forward and back, stunning enemies you hit along the way and bringing them to the edge Enhanced version has more damage and a longer stun after the skill ends Combo(short) 1 1 for survivability 2 2 for closing distance or very quick pokes againts sustained damage heroes like yu zhong or x borg(also has a higher dps than 3 3) 3 3 has more final damage but enemies can still react to it, use in moderation or to minion waves to heal As for the rest, all you need to remember is what is the best skill to the job Enhanced skill 1 for quick damage and to run if enemies are close(using up any of the skills give a speed up but skill 2 can hit enemies and reduce the range and the ult can bring enemies to you) Skill 2 for quick burst of damage(better instead of ult to guarantee a kill on low up enemy since enemies can normally run away during your ult animation (second note, first dash of the ult does less damage than skill 2 but the 2 hits (dash and final punch) do more damage in total) 3 3 is just to stun and buy time for cd ig For builds There's 3 Jungler, build full damage and pen Exp sustain, build War axe Bloodlust (or dominance/sea halberd if enemy calls for it) Oracle/dominance Queens wings Free slot (malefic, immortality but the most reccomended one would be brute force breastplate) Fighter burst War axe Hunter's strike Malefic Hapestes/great dragon spear (to run away easier) Bod

I recommend never copying the top global builds. Top players' playstyle and yours will be vastly different, you need to know why you build your items. Example: We build war axe on heroes that can keep the stacks or can be in battle long enough to get the stacks. It you can't manage the stacks it's useless and is always better get something else instead. Paquito is more of an assassin than a fighter so naturally war axe be bad unless you are able to always keep the stacks. If not, get hunter's strike. There are hundreds of more tips to look out for like when to buy certain equipment and equipment combinations. I'll suggest looking up Strongwill Game Theory for in-depth itemization guides for heroes
