The intercontinental and Crown Plaza were wonderful in Europe. They treated IHG members with special care and were really nice ! What do you think of these brands in the USA, I haven’t tried them much here. I also thought the points were much more attainable and not so difficult to reach a free night like Hilton is now. What do you think?

I have loved every Kimpton but the one in Savannah. They have all had consistent quality service and accommodations. I really like their style too. I would avoid the one in Savannah. I have stayed at the Atlanta airport, Charlotte, Asheville, Cleveland, Nashville, Alexandria and Savannah Kimptons. As for Intercontinental, I love the one at the Minneapolis airport. Really enjoyed their spa. The Boston one is great. I was not crazy about the Cleveland one but I was also miserably sick that week. I also really like Hotel Indigo from IHG. I just wish that IHG had more luxury properties in the US. They are working on it but Marriot has them beat here.
