I started playing with teleport to help other losing lanes early and it is often more useful than barrier. It's especially good vs mage or heavy poke bot lane.

Its not really something that I recommend below grandmaster because people force so many fights early that barrier or any fight summ is much better imo but if it works for you then its awesome! (I suspect you will get stucked in one rank and something like taking tp might be the reason, but I hope I am wrong!)
