another great simple instruction - am southpaw & lose the left post moving right to left as shooter moves center to my left - do I move from goal line to play top of crease & move right to left , or wait until shooter moves to angle & pull out from my left post?

K im a 2 year goalie what does he mean when he says keep ur feet under or your inside/outside edges because it makes no sence

Hope you're enjoying the position! He's talking about the size of your shuffle for 'keeping your feet under you'. Don't take these big step shuffles to follow the shooter. Use little steps, keeping your fight 'under' your body/shoulders. Young goalies often learn to shuffle and try to get these big wide steps, which puts them ahead or behind the shooter since you're trying to have these big steps. Keeping your feet under you is saying to use small, mini shuffles to always stay directly between the shooter and your net. I hope that helps my friend!

I’m 65 years old still playing but the butterfly is giving the shooters way to much top part of the net to score if they would just stay up longer they could stop the puck I see this even in the pros the guys I play against have a hack of a time no top corners

Good shooters would just pick low corners if the goalie stood up lol. See wayne Gretzky scoring 92 by firing clappers along the ice from the blue line

They try but I stop them top corners are open to easy to score on them when on knees I do believe u never played net or maybe hockey

Yeah no, good players will pick you apart on low shots if you stand up on every shot
