Jay - your videos are so so high quality and you are an amazing interviewer. You often ask the questions I would never have thought of. Really looking forward to you having more greats on! (Tim Ferriss, Shane Parish, Shaan Puri/Sam Parr etc)

Agree with this comment. This channel is a hidden gem. I tuned in when I seen paddy Galloway in a thumbnail. I’m heavy on the content creator Twitter, but don’t usually get these recommended. Glad I found this channel.

23:22 yes theory course (8M subs $300) vs Ali Abdaal course (4M subs $2,000+) Ali is an education creator and his course is an extension of that. Yea theory do entertainment but their course is in education. Ali sells his course mainly via email, so only active and engaged viewers will be able to buy. Yea theory sell via video so passive viewers can comment and condemn the product

At the end. Podcast v KZbin. Scope to improve KZbin is constantly rising with each upload. Need to invest more time and effort to each video to make it better. Versus podcast, once production is good bigger guests improve the podcast but no additional effort needed to improve it. Why it’s more likely to burnout on KZbin. Because constantly outdoing yourself

26:06 - I agree 100%. More creators need to develop products that as Colin and Samir say, have product audience fit. Creators like Emma Chamberlain, Nelk and even smaller creators like Sarah Renae have got it on the money. I think developing these products could reduce burnout, lead to more awesome products in the world that people love and just be a win/win. I have been watching your stuff for a while and know you get this. Would love to connect and discuss this further as I’m a cofounder for an agency that can help creators build and maintain an e-commerce presence.

Great Podcast❤ KNOW -> LIKE -> TRUST. Current social media's algos will get you quickly to "KNOW", but getting to LIKE & TRUST (and ultimately Swiping The Card) is a way different story! At the end of the day KZbin algo is optimized for...KZbin (therefore it does not care so much of your audience size if the video is not "performing" - they need to place their ads. If it is not your video, then KZbin has a bucket to choose from ;) A very interesing podcast!!! People prefer videos that give them illusion of being rich and healthy without working their asses...that's why a lot of scammers earn money AND educators like you guys - although you show a legit content it seems like there is a lot of work ahead. Probably your audience is more on the ground and needs more value, BUT once you pull the follower into your funnel he/she will become more loyal and LTV will be probably much higher. Depends on your ethics and philosophy... I couldn't have tricked people at any circumstances...therefore there is a long way ahead of me. Ciao!👊

@28:18... when you talk of burnout... my suggestion, as a new loyal viewer of yours, would be to slow things down and focus on making the brilliant content you produce easier to digest, help us with application of these deep insights from some of the people behind the scenes who are thinking in a very sophisticated way. In my case, I come to you as a new member of the audience who has been investigating this stuff myself, because nobody else was talking about it. So I just recognised immediately the quality and value here. But others newer to studying YT will not recognise the quality so easily... which reminds me of the value for education channels of covering content for beginners as well as those further along the journey. So for example, maybe make some recap/highlight videos from recent interviews you've done... or do it by theme rather than chronological order... with some explanation from you that gets newbies up to speed... this might become a way to segment your audience on YT? Just want to say, this was my favourite episode so far. Jamie is one smart youtuber! So strategic at the pattern recognition thing that other youtube education channels were totally missing until recently...

4min into video and im done, I see right tough this, the minute he goes off and talk about how new creators can come in and spend 25k$ month and not earn anything as am investment, only dumb ppl continued watching tbh, that s him pushing his product onto the viewers, in a sneaky way. the ppl that dont catch up on thise dynamics in alot of interviews in this space, should never start a KZbin to begin with, they are going to get exploited big time, by the sharks that live in KZbin space, just praying on new startups to exploit them. and I dont care if he then gives out some solid advice later into the video, cause hes have allready set the bar, on his intentions, for you to contact him after and spend a big bag to get advised.

I'm black and when I pull up Netflix the picture behind the show's name show me the black character on the show.. when I visit my white friends the same show on the Netflix grid has a picture of a white person... Segmentation It makes no logical sense that one thumbnail will draw everyone.. therefore, I predict KZbin's AI will automatically create thumbnails for KZbinrs.. and different types of people wi'll see different thumbnails according to what the data shows is more effective for that particular viewer.. better for the KZbinr better for KZbin better for KZbin advertisers and better for the viewer
