Thank you! I've been trying to learn how to do this for years, I've had some success but now I see that I'm always introducing too much air into the milk. The tip about how the finished milk should wash around the sides of the jug was very helpful!

Perfect explanation!! Also, great to see a lefty technique 😊 my personal additional tip: Store your milk pitcher in the freezer. This also increases the time for you to steam the milk before getting too hot.

My new epresso machine is supposed to arrive today. I have no problem being patient if i have to steam the milk a little longer than if i purchased purchased a more commercial model. I have, however, struggled to remain patient while i wait for my espresso machine to get here! LOL I am so excited to figure out my machine. The way i see it, there are no mistakes because its still espresso and milk, which is my favorite thing ever! The fun is in the trial and error! I am so excited!

Excellently presented video on making micrfome. I learned that I’m putting the tip of the steam wand in too deeply and likely not leaving it submerged long enough. Thank you very much.

Great tips, but can you actually do it again but on a cheaper espresso machine that most households have at home? It will be greatly appreciated.
@joshuagoulden7467 Жыл бұрын
Why? The principles are the same, you can achieve these results on a cheap machine with practice.
@YY-ng6nb Жыл бұрын
I have been practicing on a cheap machine- Saeco Via Venezia over months, already using one hole latte wand, still failed to steam a perfect milk for latte art! Don’t really know why?!?
@peaceful3250 Жыл бұрын
@@YY-ng6nb Probably that machine isn't producing strong enough steam and a single hole tip is a lot less powerful than 2 or more holes.

By the way, getting a vortex like that is just about impossible on cheaper machines with too little steam. Maybe you could do a video with a Gaggia Classic, to show how to do it with a lower budget machine.

One thing I learned was, after the initial air injection and vortex, to then tilt the pitcher towards myself, to get a faster vortex. I will try that out next! Oh, and great job explaining in english, despite having a Czech-based channel. 😉

All this stuff is very helpful! I just got myself a small Breville Café Roma espresso machine I am trying to learn on! Milk frothing I need allot of practice with & I'm going to take tips from your videos to try to improve & if I get it good enough why not try to practice doing some art with it haha. Doubt the steam wand on my machine is as up to the task as yours, but I'll try my best with what I got & as you suggested give it more time. I know one KZbinr said to use 1% milk.... Bottom line I'm happy you said whole milk because I want nothing to do with 1% milk! & I trust your channel way more then the other guy! I want to practice now after watching, but likely not the best idea for me to begin making a cappuccino at 12:55am.....

Should the degree of foaminess be the same throughout the milk or is it normal that the milk below is more liquid while the foam swims? (I struggle with latte art, because only the last bit of milk is foamy and stays on the surface of the coffee while the rest sinks)

Thank you for the video it was great. I was wondering what was the ml of the pitcher in video i guess it was about 350? And what are thoughts about getting the milk to bigger pitcher after steaming? Does it any advantages to pouring?
@alanjarrar3 жыл бұрын
From my experience, I got more precision while pouring and the patterns got nicely wider, covering more surface area of the coffee, since the milk was swirling in the bigger jug from side to side. To be mentioned in one of the next videos.

Great video. The instructions are clear. But…why do you tap the pitcher twice on the table? I’ve seen others do this twice, three and even four times.
@EuropeanCoffeeTrip2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It’s to get ride of the bubbles (number of taps is more of a barista habit or depends on the amount of bubbles in your steamed milk).
