Holy Crap! I didn't realize this was done 6 years ago! Impressive still today!

the whole city made by multiple photo matching is impressive. I would like to watch a tutorial of a extreme photo matching like that. The only ones on youtube use only two photos, but i guess using more photos must be more interesting.

Hi, great tutorial. I want to build my city like you in video from 15:07 to 15:58. I design sidewalks and bike lane a I would to use photomatch to exhibit to people how will the city with new mobility. But I still can not completely rebuild it because i can't align all photo to all solids. Can you help me? Thank you so much!!!

Is there an extension that allows you to change the axes origin like the one you did between the 8-11 min mark? We have something similar where I work where we can update the axes to help in getting good alignments with the 3d model and reference photo. I can't seem to find something that does exacly the same as the plugin at work is proprietary and is not available on the extension warehouse.

Hello Thanks for the great tutorial. How precise do you think the dimensions will be with this method? I mean could we rely on the given dimensions for example for interior design?

I've always been surprised at the accuracy of this method as long as one known dimension is matched as precisely as possible. I once used the above method to model an entire downtown and I only had to nudge buildings a few feet to get them to match when the last part I matched stitched to the first part.

BisonDNA Great! So you think if the input measures (for instance the height of the ceiling) were precise, the overall output model dimensions will be good.

Hey! I watched the whole video, but i am stuck with my interior. It's pretty complex. Have a look ( i attached skp of what i have built): www.dropbox.com/sh/nxpb2ih1d9hoi69/AABsnwsfHsytGjee-EoigiAua?dl=0 - What would be the best approach to this interior? I got stuck when i add second image, the dimensions do not match although i scaled it and put axis on the right place
