I was born with Sickle Cell in 65. I am now 57 and I have never heard of these techniques to help me with my Crises. Epson Salt and Evenflo. Wow. And my Dr's have me on every drug and pain medicine out there..And I hate taking drugs. My Dr's have went off on me for not taking my pain medicine. But I'm gonna try this. I will try anything not to take these drugs

Thanks for all the information, I made it to age 61 and have never heard of evenflo. I’ve been hospitalized millions of times, surgeries etc…I’ve been sent home from ER’s because of lack of Sickle Cell education. I have even been asked “When did I catch this disease” 😮I can’t tolerate narcotics therefore, it’s been a rough ride. I truly feel that I had better support during crisis as a child in New York. I’m presently in South Florida and it can be extremely difficult at times. It’s unfortunate! Also, if there is anyone who knows of a Black Hemotologist in the Fort Lauderdale area, please please, PLEASE share. 🙏🏾♥️🙏🏾

You guys are Amazing, and doing such a fabulous job! I also find ( if it was caused by cold, exertion, heat, dehydration exposure), a few liters of warm clear fluids/tea, a hot water bottle and massaging albas oil has eradicated a chest and leg crisis for me in the past.

Please, how do I deal with chronic pain? I’m on daily morphine and it barely helps with the pain. Every test says everything is fine but the daily pain is so bad I can’t move for days and just cry and cry. I really need help please. I’m also using Hydroxyurea but the doctors just see me as an addict and don’t believe that I am in this much daily pain. Do I just get evenflo, magnesium and chlorophyll?

I came across this video. N I started to try cloryphil. Immediately I felt the difference in my body. I'm sure it's not all n my mind I feel more energetic more alive not exhausted. My journey of living with sickle cell anemia began in Philadelphia I was being treated by a fantastic Dr name Mr Gay at Presbyterian ever since they closed Dr Gay down I haven't had a hemotogist Dr who seems to even care. My last hemo Dr miss diagnosed n mistreated my illness ignorance my blood level causing me to have a build up in high calcium in my blood having to have a major surgery on my thought I never trusted a,Dr again. So I been self medicating. N research n eating healthy. Today I'm not on no medication not even hydroxyurea. That medicine almost killed me. After loosing my lil sister Corrine. I start to not believe in these Dr no more. Today in Philadelphia there is not one Dr that helps me with my illness they can care less. Or all the clinics are not accepting new patients Philadelphia and sickle cell is a joke here. Pray n take care yourself. Seems to be the model here.
