You completely right, insecuritys are just thoughts. Its just your own way of thinking that makes the needles thoughts anything wurth. However, acceptance and being confident will get some of the thoughts appear less so its also easier not to think about the insecuritys when the thoughts are not appearing through your mind every time. In that way your insecuritys will get less important and can fade away. Confidence is necessary for the insecuritys to go away. Without self love you never can find acceptance and it makes it hard to love yourself becouse of that. Like a sort circle. Thats why its so hard so solve it. I actually think its necessary to have other people love you before you can love yourself. Humans are social animals and have always been depending on eage other. There are many people who dont get the love they need, the accepance from others who they are. And without others we are noone.

A few things 1. Have you ever been in a room and the person across from you is just everything you want to be? Like maybe they have something you really want . Or maybe they look really pretty and you feel really ugly. Just remember your the person across the room from them. 2. If your ever feeling insecure while your in the bathroom, get a photo of when you were younger and stick it on the mirror. So you remember if you have anything bad to say about yourself just remember that, that little girl or boy doesn’t deserve to feel that way. 3. DONT follow the stupid beauty standards. Because next year you’ll have changed your whole entire body and can’t even recognize yourself. No one will care because people are already on to a new beauty standard. 4. Why do we let people make us feel like we’re not good enough? Why do we give them that power? Who cares what they say? Do they really mean anything to you? Why change your body for ONE person? 5. (If your Christian) God created us. And everyday we look at his creation and say how ugly we are? Why? He created this beautiful creation and all we do is talk about how bad it is. Society makes us think that body hair on women is something to be ashamed of. However in reality ITS NOT. It is just a part of ourselves. I have ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS!!! have hated my arched nose, an arched nose is where you have a lump. I use to not pay any attention to it since I didn’t care about it, but the only reason why I HAVE noticed my nose is bc of social media and people’s perfect noses, since Covid hit, I spent my WHOLE 5th grade school experience wearing a mask and covering my face because of how ashamed and embarrassed of my nose I was, at lunch I wouldn’t even eat my food in front of my friends, I’d sometimes skip it or just drink my milk by slipping a straw under my mask so I wouldn’t have to remove it. I know that people don’t care about my nose, but as I’ve got older I’ve started caring about my looks and my appearance, now it’s my BIGGEST insecurity and idk how to deal with it, I’m scared it’s gonna take over my next school year, or that if I show my nose that people will start judging, and as a young person it’s really hard to deal with this, especially since this my secret about why I wear a mask, everyone always asks. It’s even harder since I’m the only one in my friend group that wears a mask willingly. No one knows why I wear my mask, no one knows my insecurity, and I’m scared to take off my mask, since I have no confidence and no motivation, someone please help. I have more insecurities but this is my biggest one. And I am not even 13. Edit:Just venting here💔

I was insecure once. Then I realized I’m so lazy that I’m not gonna waste my energy thinking bad about myself, it got boring. Now I just think about that one time I heard a person say “I like when girls have big noses” and now I just laugh at my younger self for hating my nose.
