I just sinned again. I’m too weak in discipline. I felt like I heard God’s voice tell me if I did it again, there would be no sacrifice left for me before I committed the sin. I should have listened. Read through the whole book of Romans but especially google Romans 8 and Romans 8:31-39 What Hebrews 10:26 is referring to is the j-ews continuing to sacrifice animals for the forgiveness of sins rather than accepted Jesus or trusting Jesus Christ who was the perfect final sacrifice, Jesus took on ALL of mankind sins past, present, & future when he died on the cross. Hebrews 10:26 is not saying if you commit one sin after accepting Christ you'll go to hell, No! we humans are imperfect beings who make mistakes so if/when you sin you ask God for forgiveness in Jesus' name amen. and try not to do it again

Here to remind you guys. KZbin videos don't help. Pray and read your Bible, those help. I facepalmed at this video because I currently feel like these videos are pointless. They change nothing. Shame and guilt are why you fail. The thought "I failed again." is the problem. You must accept that it happens and stop being ashamed of it. Take accountability instead of shame for what you did. You will fail again because it's normal and failing is normal and acceptable. No human becomes a master of anything at the first try. Plus, like Paul said, some can't overcome lust and sexual sin. That's how I have always viewed it. The part where he wishes everyone to be like him but then talks about getting married. Yes, some can't overcome sexual sin. Sexuality is completely normal. There's nothing sinful about sexual attraction towards women when you are a man. That's called desire which is never a sin. The difference to lust is that you want her out of selfish reasons. None of us would be here if no one had desire towards their wives. That's not sin. You're supposed to be attracted to women. You must remove the selfishness out of it so it becomes desire instead of lust. So, you didn't want her for yourself only and didn't do it out of self gratification reasons? Good. You looked at a woman with desire, not lust. You didn't commit any sins. This is why I find these videos cringe sometimes. They make it sound like you need to get rid of your natural attraction to women and your natural God created desire. There's nothing wrong with either. You'll become asexual, which isn't biblical, if you follow many of these videos. There's a probability in some cases you didn't lust after any woman. It's not always lust as I said. I came to this somewhat opposite conclusion through the fact that God created us to be fruitful and multiply. I haven't yet found a single possibility of getting sexually aroused as a man without desire. That's the problem with this thinking and the solution is getting rid of selfishness in the relationship and wanting her for selfish reasons. Ive yet to find a video where they find any explanation of how my body parts are supposed to work when I get married and I'm supposed to have kids if both desire and lust are the problem. God created our bodies to function the way they do. Your body isn't something problematic. Your body is very similar to that which Adam had and God created him. God has created every part of you, mind, body and soul. We're not gnostics here. The body isn't something evil. God made it from the dust of the earth originally and made it function the way it does.

Yes we'll said I believe the other main problem is yourself becoming enslaved to that urge or emotion and that's where the problem occurs because then you want more and need to feed it becoming an addiction making it your master. God said to Cain sin is crouching at your door and it desires to have you. Nothing is supposed to master us as we were created to have dominion over these things, but we were born in sin and are powerless against it therefore thank God through Christ who conquered sin for us that we now by faith can have mastery over it.

There's a big difference between being attracted to a person and desiring them. The former is natural and comes spontaneously. It's not to be feared. Lust we have control over. If we allow attraction to transmute into desire we expose ourselves to the dangers that come from surrendering to destructive appetites. The movie Eyes Wide Shut showed those dangers so clearly. I'm filled with admiration at the beauty, grace, balletic ability, agility and strength displayed in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. While the women who perform it are exceptionally beautiful, the sport has a purity and an innocence that transcends the lascivious and the sexually provocative.

It's very important not to get the words of a psychologist or some sort of natural reasoner wrapped up in our thinking process regarding this issue here. We need to approach this from a Biblical point of view and listen to the Holy Spirit. If the Scripture tells us to run from sexual lust, then we need to run! If Jesus tells us that lusting intentionally after a woman is adultery, then let's believe Him! We need to make every possible effort, by God's grace, to be diligent on our part, to make no excuses and strive to please God by the Promised Helper. Jesus requires self-denial to follow Him. But in the process you'll receive His Abundant Life, and His Kingdom door is opened to you ✨️
