Wow this was uploaded a month ago.. Lucky for me bc I’ve spent some time looking for sources relating to the problem. I have a 2012 Corolla LE with the exact problem and feel at ease now. Thank you man!! Great video!

thank you, yea my brakes were squeaky for about a year before I was able to figure this out, I first took off the brakes and sprayed with brake cleaner hoping that would help but it did not, most people get a complete brake job done for this problem, but all you need to do is lubricate behind the brake shoes, thanks for commenting and make sure to subscribe

Next time, use a spray bottle with normal dishwashing soap and warm water to clean the drum brakes. Rinse off with warm water in another spray bottle, or a garden hose. Save your money by not using a whole bottle of brake cleaner on just one wheel. The soap and water works very, very well. Then apply silicone ceramic lubricant on those three spots per brake pad. Works better than antiseize. Hope your squeaks never come back!!
