I used silicone in corners, three rows of it and ket dry 24 hours and works like a charm

Not sure what those "corners" cost, but you can do the same think with a .98cent linoleum square. Cut it in half at a 45 angle and you get two.

My next question is what if I have to wash the rug or it needs to be carpet clean and with those being on the edges the whole idea was to not have it slip are those non-skid because it looks like a hard plastic that would just be able to maneuver on flooring. I’m going to get the name and go online and research it. Thank you so much for your time and your kindness.

How does this compare to a Family Dollar peel and stick vinyl tile? The non-skid is a good point. It does get good reviews on Amazon.

What's wrong with tape on wood floor? Is your floor bare wood? If it's sealed tape would be just fine
