indeed, why isnt there an option to just disable bluetooth and wifi if you want to, or even better only be paired with one remote and just auto deny any other connections even other samsung remotes.. my samsung monitor always has bluetooth and wifi on while i dont even use it but i cannot simply disable it

Yes I have the exact same problem. Been trying to work w/Samsung Techs for years and cannot resolve. Nagging, unknown, invading, sound device pairing notifications pops-up on the top of my Samsung 4K Smart TV blocking out viewing my whole screen while locking-up use of the Samsung remote (while engaged). Turning off Notifications in Device Connect Management does NOT work or solve the issue. This is a Samsung glitch and NOT another party's issue (although Samsung tries to point the finger and put the blame elsewhere). The only radical remedy left MIGHT be to have Samsung turn off Blue Tooth for the TV, but that would disable use of the accompanying Samsung TV remote, and how can one operate the TV without the accompanying Remote control? It's not right that Samsung does not remedy this crucial problem for their customers.

I had this pop up, "SmartThings - Enter the (shown) PIN on your device." My wife had showed me when I was in another room. When she went back it said registration complete which was really weird. How could they have seen the PIN when it is displayed on my screen? I changed a lot of settings within my firewall regarding my modem and within the TV. We'll see if it happens again.

This works even if the person changes their device name. It denies the device itself.

Probably not weirdos, lol. More likely an auto-syncing thing. Wanted to log into KZbin on my Samsung tv for the first time only to find that it was already logged into someone else's KZbin Premium. It would probably drive them nuts more than me if I enjoyed their Premium service for free and introduced them to many new channels that they have no interest in.

Netflix used to do the same thing on my Roku device... it would give me free access using other accounts I suppose from in my area or similar IP. I also noticed that under my own account that items were being watched that I didn't watch!! This can only mean one thing, and it PISSES ME OFF. Do we have retards running the tech world now?? Someone tried to connect, and I selected "deny", but because of this stupid remote control design, the arrow buttons and the enter button are all bunched together, so when I went to press enter, I pressed the down arrow again so it went and selected "allow", THEN I pressed enter. Hate this crap.

Definitely solved the problem, the weirdo can longer connect. However this remedy does not stop them from trying. I need to figure out how to hide my Samsung TV’s network signal to stop the weirdo from constantly trying to connect.

Change your device's name and change the retail password to your own personal one chancers know the password from the shop is 0000. Under settings there's an option to do so. Hope this helps

When asked, allow/ deny at top of the screen. My remote failed to work . ( yes, remote worked just fine everything else but would not scroll to the top and deny)Yet when preset times for everything else ( I'm on YT ,reminds me of news show , gives me the choice and functions. 65" 2018 , Samsung STV . I have had my tv for about a year. I didn't want Alexa I don't trust it in any way, shape or form. I think it is very dangerous. I woke up one morning and turned on my TV and the Alexa is on! There's a place in settings where you can turn off notifications. Follow Britt Tech's video to the menu "Device Connect Manager". Then instead of "Device List," select "Access Notification." Another thought: maybe "Delete" isn't permanent -- as you say they just keep coming back. Maybe "Deny" would work. Good luck.
