I think the Test Track is such a good toy idea. It wouldn't necessarily have to be lego. You could market it as a science kit or even as a hot wheels set. Pretty sure another treadmill would be overkill (not to say that overkill isn't that mans forté). One could build that out of Lego. I for my part like that he isn't trying for immersion. That way the creations themselves are in the spotlight and the feeling of madman building over engineered stuff in his living rooms is ever present.
