How to stop your shoes from giving you blisters!

A friend told me about this hack and since then I’ve been using it for 10+ years, and it works! I’ve passed this tip to friends, sisters and nieces. The one I used is from 3M and it’s ‘clear plastic tape’ you find in the first aid aisle with all the other bandages. The generic Walmart brand for clear plastic tape also works as well. I always carry a roll with me when I’m wearing new shoes for the first couple of times, until it’s broken in. Saved my niece from blisters on her prom night (first time she wore heels, lol). Game changer!!!

Holds better than bandaids! I had a roll in the cupboard so I’ll give it a try. I got two terrible blisters from new shoes and now I’m terrified it’ll happen again!

Do you know how to make the "heel" anti slip? These days the heels are made of plastic instead of rubber so they slide so very easily.

You can try rubbing the bottom of the shoe with sandpaper to make it rough hence giving it some grip

This is great but I'm allergic to the adhesive on the tape.A better idea for ME is to put the tape on the SHOES and not on my foot.

Modeling school, we just put bandaids over where the shoes rubbed. You're only wearing them a short time unless you're big time and have a clause in your contract you get to keep clothes or shoes or jewelry that you model. Anyway, cheap cheap bandaids, and then you just take them off when you're done.
