Question: I have a 240watt solar panel and a 400watt wind turbine. I have 6 g31 DC batteries in a wooden box outdoors. A person said I should keep them indoors, keeping them above 32%. Another person tells me outdoors in fine as long as they are in a box of some kind. Which is the best place to keep them, in or out?

Black, then red disconnect. Red, then black reconnect. Thanks! I don't drive for months in winter, so thought bringing it indoors would keep it from fully dying, since it gets so cold. I ALWAYS kill my batteries in winter. Can I store it in my home and keep it boxed to keep out dust? Do I have to hook to charger every so often? I'm not used to harsh winters, so never had this issue. I do not drive long distances, so I would HAVE to be sure I drive a freeway every week in ice and snow every winter because cold drains them so fast.

Hi, I am leaving my 2019 F150 parked in apartment parking lot with no AC power to hook up a trickler. What do you think about solar trickler kits? Suggestions on a good one for 6 months? Or should I just disconnect bat and leave it in the truck or bring it in apartment. Do I need to hook a trickler on it in my apt? Is that safe? No one will be there for months.

Yea it safe . Make sure it’s smart charger meaning the charger will shut off once the battery is fully charge look for brand call Noco

@@GadgetControlTV I looked up the Amazon reviews and there was a review of It overcharging and overheating both battery and charger. Probably will just disconnect bat. Later, call AAA for a jump.

1001 add distilled water and charge for ainother 12 hours and see if the voltage goes up. Note : if the battery is old it will not recover I see success rate with batteries going back to life no older then 3 years. Let me know how it goes .

Is it safe and effective to use a can of Coka Cola to clean up any dried battery acid along with the battery terminals? Btw another great video again, thank you.

Never used that method before. Thank you for your feedback

It's an old wives tale, just like mixing vinegar and baking soda (Baking soda neutralizes vinegar). Anything will work if you scrub hard enough, but there is no magic.
