I need to make something of a similar nature for the small 1 to 3 inch ones for my air tools , some of those bend up so they don't stick and this is a great idea that I will be altering to fit my purpose Thanks for sharing

My shop mate's solution is simply a heavy steel weight with a hole through it instead of the locking mechanism.

Cool idea, have you noticed a difference? Humidity is what makes them cup, so I'm wondering if these stay flat or do they just cup again once pressure is released since it doesn't stop moisture ingress?

I find that if I keep them on the stack, returning them after use, they stay flat. I'm in Tucson, Arizona where it is usually so dry that humidity is less of an issue than in other areas.

Hey Doug, this is a great video. Who makes those discs? I currently use 3M cubitron and the ceramic ones from Harbor Freight. The cubitron discs are great but they are so expensive. And the HF version are cheaper, but not as durable. Would be great to have another option on my shelf.

I like to use 3M cubitron disks - they work well and last a long time. There might be a few other disks on the stack in the video, but cubitron is my go to disk.
