Storing my 22 inch Blackstone for winter, mine will be inside, however I will be making another video for the 36 griddle that stays outside for hard winter months. This griddle is my camping one and has only been used a few times. I been storing my griddle’s like this for year. This griddle replaced my old 17 inch, original that had the grease trap in the front what I sold after getting this griddle here . This griddle was a black Friday walmart deals for day limited edition… 2022 , was seasoned in the spring of 2023 and was used over the summer and fall.
Its best to get this done while its still kinda nice outside, one to save on gas , 2 so your not freezing outside.
Because this is the one i only use for camping/ traveling/ tailgating/ picnics I was done using it for the season. My 36 griddle that stays out year around, will be done later in the fall before snow hits the area. For me I don’t like cooking outside in freezing weather thats just not fun for me. So I store them for winter. If by a slim chance i want to use the 36 in the winter it’s nothing to it and can be used , and restored for winter again. It’s easy and simple but I do have more steps than the 22 in this video here, so if you’re interested be on the lookout for that video later maybe the end of November or beginning of December all depends on the weather. Go ahead and subscribe and hit that notification bell 🔔 so you know when I upload a new video.
Hopefully this was helpful to someone .
