Nice video, but change the title. The aircraft is stored in a ‘hangar,’ not a ‘garage.’ The process of doing this is called ‘hangaring.’ Somehow, I think that you already know this.

it would seem safer to land on a platform with wheels, then use a machine to tow it into hanger, prevent possible back injury.

Plenty of accidents where pilots have landed half on and half off platforms resulting in rollovers and totalled helicopters. There are trolleys that you can drive between the skids that lift and carry the helicopter which would be the lazy way to move it, bit nothing wrong in pushing if you have enough man power.
