Great video Evan! I feel it will take me very long to work on each of these weekly tricks, I just started to stick 1/20 tack attempts :). Managed to do do jumps when I am a bit on the overpowered side. I seem to be struggling to let go of the back hand and keep the from one which results on a lot of stalls. Anyways, I would love to get some more tips on wave riding techniques. The first video was superb, but I am missing a bit of coordination between my board and my kite, stances, etc. Cheers!

Thanks, hope that tack video helped. I plan on making some more wave riding oriented videos in the future as well!

looks so sick sending that off the waves!

Yeah a little wave makes it quite a lot different (and more fun) but can really help the rotation a lot and is how I learned it myself.

thanks a lot! I just understood that I actually rotate too much and that's why I keep loosing the board at the very last moment before the landing. Rotating less and keeping the tail higher will make a difference for sure. I will also give a try to that back hand grab which looks pretty interesting. Also a good way to get into a tic-tac after the rotation. Can't wait for the next tutorial ;)

Yeah the back hand grab is a lot harder at first I think but once it is figured out really makes it easier and more consistent. Back hand for sure on the tic tacs, I still find those to be pretty tricky...

Thanks for all your videos. Which do you think is easier to learn the frontroll or the backroll? I can already do strapless jumps

Back roll I think is a better starting point. Try it off some small waves with front hand grab, that was at least how I did my first ones.

Thanks for the vid! One question, will you start by learning Backroll or Frontroll first ? I manage to land both with fronthand grabs but want to learn them without any grabs. Thanks !

gotta try this one. how hogh you need to jump to make this one happen?
@evannetsch3 жыл бұрын
Really not that high at all, maybe 2-3 feet is all you need. A small wave can help push you into the rotation as well

It's amazing that it's so easy to do it in my head but when I actually try it it just turns to sh*t

Yup, I understand. I know exactly what needs to happen for some many tricks but when I go to do them switch my body will not cooperate. I get it for sure! Visualizing is the first step for sure...

Para una persona que se está iniciando que truco ves más fácil el backrolle o front....
