How To Stream In Vertical (Shorts) AND Landscape Mode on YouTube

In this video guide, I show how to stream in both landscape and portrait mode on KZbin at the same time. This means your stream will be everywhere on KZbin including the Shorts feed! This method utilises Aitum Vertical.

the answer is that they are not the same key. Its impossible to send two streams to the same stream key.

make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Aitum Vertical and run the installer. Likewise download the latest version of OBS. This should ensure fewer issues

They dont show up in the same place. However you can use Casterlabs to combine chats.

The streamkey I refreshed for the Vertical stream automatically updated on my landscape stream as well so only 1 stream was able to go live. The second one (vertical in this case) gave me an error as that new streamkey was already in use.

I spoke to Casterlabs and they said combining chats into one on screen overlay isn’t currently possible. Pop out both chats and read them off a second monitor.

If you set a profile up to stream through OBS do you need to hit the live bottom more than once?

The profile will work for horizontal, you'll need a custom stream key for vertical and you'll need to set that up in YT Studio every time.

Hey man, great vid! I stream , but I multi stream to twitch aswell, can I still add YT vertical stream, so 3 streams going out in total? Or should I just do a vertical YT stream and twitch… I have optic fibre 1gb internet speed so internet is not a factor . I assume I can do all 3 at the same time? But not sure don’t want to do this and mess with stream keys if I don’t have too. Let me know! Please and thanks?

you can definitely do all three at once. Streamlabs Ultra is the easiest way to do this. With Streamlabs Desktop. It is paid software of course. Scroll through the channel and watch some of the multistream videos

You need a min of 15-20 Mbps from your provider if you want good quality. Set each stream to 6k bitrate. Otherwise adjust accordingly

Generally yes. You can set the bitrate for each.

There are no ads on a Shorts stream unless viewed from outside the Shorts feed. Super chat is there just like with a landscape stream. KZbin does not pay per view.

Why is my vertical stream stuck in "Upcoming"? OBS is streaming output to the vertical broadcast but the stream won't start.

Make sure you have the correct stream key and also check KZbin Studio to see what it is saying and check the top right corner to see if you need to confirm the stream there

and regarding the multi rtmp plugin I am not sure. I've never used that plugin. If it doesnt work, then simply open another instance of OBS. You can do that by just searching for OBS in your windows search bar
