Great tutorial! I don't have a capture card, at the moment I'm using a third party software to enable me to mirror my mobile phone screen to my computer, but it's a bit of a hassle to setup while your process is much more convenient! The screen mirror also uses more resources from your PC so you'd need to have more power as well. Going to save up for the capture card soon, after the PS5. Btw I was one of the Meet & Greet winners for the KZbin Fanfest, hope you still remember me! Also had a zombie token of your Harlequin cosplay signed a few years ago at Asiapop which you most likely don't remember :D

Thanks for this tutorial actually got into experimenting quite a bit na din, Connecting my console to OBS, using phone apps to mirror the phone over wifi (since my phone doesn't support HDMI out) but before I got to that, this is one of the videos that got me through the basics beyond using OBS for screen recording alone.

Honestly alodia for all your stream with audio, only audio wont be capture by that hdmi cable as you did mention display. And also on win10 project to pc is available but audio is completely mute hoping you can add more
